Timothe Fuchs – Fund Manager AIFM

Timothé Fuchs is CEO of Fuchs Asset Management and Partner of family-owned Fuchs & Associés Group, a Luxembourgish company created in 2000 which offers wealth management, fund governance, family office, life insurance brokerage and trading services. After a Master’s degree in Management from the Burgundy Management School in France, with a major in Banking, Financial Markets and Asset Management, he started his career at Fortis Bank as a Relationship Manager. He worked for BNP Paribas Group in the investment fund industry and securitization department before joining Fuchs & Associés Finance. His senior experience in developing investment strategies and products allowed the company to widen the range of services to its international clients. Timothé Fuchs is also a Member of the Board and investment committee for the Vector Innovation Fund and is the AFIM fund manager for this and a number of other investment groups.

Paul Stannard – Chairman & General Partner

A successful investment, technology and media entrepreneur who is the founding Chairman of the World Nano Foundation and has been Chairman and Trustee of World Science Aid since 2015. He has a global network in investment, technology and media and previously held senior positions at several FTSE companies. Paul has started and sold numerous start-up technology and media companies to listed companies over the last 35 years and was instrumental in developing technologies that changed the way markets and industries operate internationally. He is also an international keynote speaker on Disruptive Innovations such as quantum dots, digital assets, nanomedicine, and media. His previous company was responsible for developing the first online applications for news and now produces mobile applications for more than a thousand media companies globally with a monthly audience or more than 2.5bn. He has also successfully helped raise capital in numerous international markets including the US, UK, Europe, Middle East, and Asia.

Paul Sheedy – Value Creation General Partner

Paul is an entrepreneur and strategy expert, co- founder of both the World Nano Foundation and World Science Aid. He has a degree in Chartered Mechanical Engineering and began his career at the Ford Motor Company, before starting his own consultancy 30 years ago, which has grown into an international group specialising in strategy implementation for highly disruptive start-ups through to global brands. The propriety approach has been used to enhance the effectiveness of global conglomerates generating billions in forward revenues and profits. Paul believes that all strategy comes down to two questions: what business are you in and how are you going to win? These questions are simple but not easy. Paul and his colleagues have developed analytical tools to assess the likely success of disruptive technologies coming to global markets and similar mechanisms to pick strategic winners in developed yet changing markets.

Kojo Annan – Deal Execution General Partner

Founder of Vector Global, an investment holding company with cross-border investment, across multiple sectors Technology, Media and Telecoms diversified interests in West Africa, Innovation, Lifestyle and Wellbeing. Seasoned entrepreneur with global and diverse network and with a strong track record in investing in and growing businesses. Founded Meridian Port Services (MPS) (modern container terminal in Tema) in partnership with Maersk, Bolloré and Ghana Ports, a 1.5bn USD investment into West Africa. Co-Founder of Made in Africa (MIA), MIA is a luxury group that bridges African high culture with a global audience. Kojo holds degrees in Economics and Political Science, is fluent in both French and English and proficient in Yoruba.

Chris Marson – IC Board Member

Chris Marson studied applied physics at City University London. He has worked in the financial services sector for more than 30 years with senior management positions at AXA Equity and Law, Eagle Star, Scottish Provident, and Lombard International in numerous functions across the investment sector. He has a wealth of knowledge working with family offices, fund structures and cross border tax structures. He is now CEO and Founder of RTi Family Office, a single family office based in London.

Stephen West - IC Board Member

Stephen has nearly 40 years of international, finance, accounting and senior management experience across diverse industry groups including energy, infrastructure, property, consumer, and finance. For the last 25 years, he has focused on private equity fund management, principal investing in emerging markets as well as the renewable energy power generation sector. He currently serves as the Investment Committee Chairman for an East African Fund and IC member of a West African Fund as well as being the Chairman of an Indian focused solar energy investor-developer. Prior to this Stephen was a Founding Partner of Actis Capital, the pioneering emerging markets private equity fund manager. Stephen holds an MBA from Strathclyde Graduate Business School and is a qualified Chartered Management Accountant.

Simon Gaston - IC Board Member

Simon Gaston is founder and CEO of VCA - Venture Capital Advisors Ltd and a Senior Partner at Invista Capital Advisers. Simon has extensive international financial services experience spanning more than 25 years, having worked internationally for much of his career across Africa, the Middle East, Switzerland and the United Kingdom. Simon has held executive positions in infrastructure and logistics as COO and CEO, with a deep understanding of the various functions necessary to run and operate a successful financial services business. Simon studied economics and sociology, qualified with the Association of International Bond Dealers and is a member of the Securities Institute. Before setting up his own businesses Simon was a Managing Director with UBS, Zurich and latterly CEO of Barclays in Switzerland, leading Barclays Private Banking and Wealth Management business in Geneva. In 2015 Simon moved back to the UK and joined Falcon Private Wealth in London, an Abu-Dhabi Sovereign Wealth company, heading their Asset Management business as CEO and Executive Board Member.
